UKVCA Community Forum – Thur 7th April

Since 2014, The UKVCA has held an annual Community Forum to which we have invited representatives of all three levels of government.

Covid regulations have limited these in the last two years, but we are very pleased to announce that the 2022 Community Forum will go ahead on Thursday, April 7th provided there are no further Covid limitations.

This Forum will be held in the AUDITORIUM, adjacent to the Information Centre, at 7:30 pm.

In attendance will be Dr, Helen Haines, MHR Indi, and the CEO and Mayor of the Alpine Shire. Unfortunately, the Victorian Government will be sitting on that day, so our new MLA, Mr Tim McCurdy, will be an apology. He was very keen to come and certainly to be considered in the future and has asked to send a message to be read on his behalf.

We ask you to put the date on your calendar – come along, listen to our reps and ask any questions of concern to you.

In addition to this, the Alpine Shire Council will be holding the March meeting in the AUDITORIUM, at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, March 1st. Community members may attend and ask questions from the floor in the allocated time and can also lodge Questions on Notice by Noon on the previous day through, but the earlier, the better.

We hope you can use these opportunities to gain insight into the work of our various governing bodies.
